On the flip side, there are keyboards. You can’t get much more utilitarian an item than a keyboard. Most of us peck away at keyboards much of the day, without giving much thought to a device that is decidedly unsexy.


The Logitech Illuminated Keyboard is one exception to that.  I’ve used many keyboards over the years, including a Logitech G15 that was my primary keyboard until recently, and the lluminated Keyboard is my favorite so far.  Read on for the full review.

If you are a dedicated Windows Live Messenger user and own an iPhone, you may want to take a gander at the official, recently released (and free) iPhone app for the longstanding IM service. The new Live Messenger app is fairly slick and easy to navigate, has push notifications, displays updates from many of the services you can integrate with in your Windows Live account — including Facebook — and handles the job of basic messaging very well. That said, there are a few obvious gaps and design flaws that have made the experience a bit frustrating for some.

My Experience Using a Fitness Ball as My Office Chair

We tech geeks spend much of our time at the computer, and, as a result, we spend much of our time in a chair.  If this concerns you, it is with good reason.  BusinessWeek recently discussed how your office chair is killing you.  The article points out that as recently as 150 years ago, 90% of human endeavor was agricultural, and that in a small span of time we’ve become “chair-sentenced.”  The article cited several statistics for the proposition that a sedentary job is bad for your health, even if you exercise outside of work.
