evan I’m Evan, the Founding Editor of 40Tech. That might sound at least remotely impressive, until you realize that I was the only editor of 40Tech until recently. In the "real world," I have a job that is decidedly non tech-oriented. This hasn’t stopped me from scratching my tech itch whenever I get the chance. Seeing that much of the tech community seems to be made of either insiders or a fairly closed circle of people, all of whom see to know one another, I started this blog to write about tech from my perspective – i.e. the perspective of the average 40-something tech geek.

I currently live in southcentral Pennsylvania with my beautiful wife, and two and a half cats (the extra half accounts for the stomach size of the fat one). In my spare time, I like to ski, dabble in tech (of course), and spend time with my wife. Feel free to contact me with any tips or suggestions.
