Hello, I'm Evan. I write about tech from my perspective – that of the average tech geek, sometimes with my lawyer glasses on. You can also find me on Twitter and at my real-life job as a lawyer. MORE ABOUT ME.
@40Tech Hi Evan, I’m really interested to hear your thoughts behind putting 1password in your dock. That’s prime realestate. Personally, I have 1password as the first app on my second screen. Do you log into a lot of websites?
@nathanieloffer I’ll pay closer attention to whether it’s still the case, but even with share sheet support in iOS, it seemed like I was always opening the app. Maybe I try too many new apps without built in support. But you’ve definitely motivated me to pay attention to it.
@nathanieloffer@40Tech I don’t have 1Password on any page on my iPhone. I suppose because I don’t need it much and usually go Home and ‘swipe down’ to access search and enter ‘1P’. On my iPad I do have it in my dock (though I could remove it since I don’t need it very often).
@ronguest@nathanieloffer I just moved it onto the second page . . . and then proceeded to install Sunlit, where I had to go into 1Password to sign into my website, Flickr, and Instagram. Gonna still give it a few more days on page 2.
@40Tech When I’m signing into an app I access 1password initially on the second screen but after that I access it through the app switcher as it feels faster.
