@Richard – maybe we are on a different page. By OCR within the Livescribe desktop software I am referring to the ability to search within notebooks. I am using the LS Desktop software on a Mac and in the upper right corner there is a search box.

Example of this is that I just searched for the word “factor” and it pulled up multiple pages and then highlighted in yellow the word on the page. In a quick test using the search “factor” the LS software pulled up 6 pages out of a notebook and 5 of them contained either the word ‘factor’ or part of the word was factor like ‘factory’. The same search in EN (I import everything from LS into EN and turn sections of notebooks into a single note) on the Mac desktop client pulled up only two references to ‘factor’ and one was not even close.
