I haven’t bought a tablet yet but I’m cautiously looking into some units for possible purchase. I might go with an Asus Transformer hybrid, you get the best of both worlds.

I would use the laptop version for doing actual work done, while the tablet form factor is either for quick multimedia consumption, or as a “pacifier” for the kids.
