Have you tried the drive on other computers and with different cables? It is possible that the problem is not data loss, but a connection issue. Also try restarting your machine and disabling anything else that might be calling on USB ports — and pretty much anything else that you can reasonably disable just in case. If you get no luck via any of these methods, here’s a few other options for recovery tools:
