One service I came across recently (via Life Hacker I think) is AirDropper. It does the opposite, ie for when you want to request a file from someone. The interface looks very simple and the file is put into your DropBox folder, which is kind of neat.

I have to say that I haven’t actually used it yet but I have it bookmarked ready!
