Yeah, I hear your Christie. We are ever so certainly moving toward to tech we see in the Sci-Fi movies we love. :D

Maybe Youtube will be one of their value added services, down the line.

Wow, this is awesome and I'll definitely get an account before the deadline! I wish they'd add YouTube, although the videos of my son's marching band I want are not under my account.. (hmmm)...

I'm with you - I have a lot more content out in the cloud than I do on my hard drive now and would love to have one place to back it all up.
.-= Christie´s last blog ..<a href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/IntrovertZone/~3/Nb7ll4YbrWY/id-get-a-lot-more-haircuts-if-i-could-order-em-from-amazon" rel="nofollow">I’d get a lot more haircuts if I could order ‘em from Amazon!</a> =-.

I don't believe it was Gmail, as I added my Gmail account today, but couldn't add my Apps account. I did Twitter them about it, so we'll see what they say.

That could just be the Gmail issues they were having (possibly still are having) that I mentioned in the note. Possibly not though, as Google Apps seems to have different checks and balances overall.

I've been using Backupify for a few weeks now, and it seems to be working great. I'm actually using it to back up this site. The one thing I haven't tested is restoring from a backup, but at least with Gmail and Google Docs, it is pretty easy to confirm what is in the backup by just examining the backup.

One thing I wish Backupify had was the ability to backup the version of Gmail that comes in Google Apps for domains. I tried it earlier today, and no dice.
