Thanks for the tip and the link! I actually stumbled on Autopen just the other day when my previous signature method in Chrome stopped working properly (I was using Cannned Responses). I have to say, it's awesome! I haven't even started using the sync feature yet and I have absolutely no complaints, especially with the latest version -- very good extension!

You might want to take a look at Autopen - Email Signatures https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/cmjcoiohflenpehfaalahocpmacjloof It is a full featured email signatures app for gmail/google apps. Has a great rich text editor, unilimited signatures, different signature defaults for different email addresses and a sync service that will keep your signatures synchronized between different computers.

So far, I really like the extension -- never tried its Firefox counterpart (FastestFox). I hear the popup can interfere with other popups like Google Translate though -- but I only use that selectively and the FastestChrome popup can be easily disabled.

It won't speed up everything on chrome, but will make certain tasks faster. FastestChrome makes browsing pages (e.g. browsing google) faster because it will automatically load the next page as you reach the end of the current one, but won't slow down chrome. Also, you can select text and then search it on a search engine.
Here is the link if you want to try it out:
